Please join the Department of Biology in congratulating Donald Miller and Hugo Villanueva, our 2012 Outstanding Student award winners!
The annual Commonwealth of Pennsylvania University Biologists (CPUB) Outstanding Student and the IUP Department of Biology Outstanding Student awards are designed to recognize those students who have achieved high levels of academic, research, and service achievements during their undergraduate careers.
Miller and Villanueva have been excellent students and are truly outstanding in their achievements. They are deserving award winners and will be great ambassadors for our program.
Miller will begin his medical education at the Hershey Medical School of the Pennsylvania State University this fall, while Villanueva will begin his medical studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
