Larkin and Bakermans to Evaluate Golden-Winged Warbler Response to Breeding Habitat Management

The School of Graduate Studies and Research is pleased to announce that Jeff Larkin and Marja Bakermans, Department of Biology, received external funding in the amount of $125,500 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service for their project, “Monitoring and Evaluating Golden-Winged Warbler Response to Breeding Habitat Management Associated With the NRCS Golden-Winged Warbler Initiative.”

Larkin and his research team will examine the reproductive success of the imperiled Golden-winged Warbler at sites managed for the species in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
