“Step-by-Step Academic Library Assessment” was presented by Kelly Heider, education librarian; Portia Diaz, distance education librarian; Sandy Janicki, reference librarian; and Blaine Knupp, public services librarian, at the annual meeting of the State System of Higher Education Library Consortium on March 27, 2012, at the Dixon Center in Harrisburg, Pa.
During their presentation, these members of IUP Libraries’ Assessment Committee shared the findings of their research on the value of IUP Libraries’ resources and services to faculty users, as well as the step-by-step process they used to design and implement their study. Participants received advice and handouts to help plan their own user assessments.
