On Wednesday April 11, 2012, from 2:00–3:00 p.m. EDT, the IUP Research Institute will offer a webcast on “Crafting a Sales Pitch for Your Grant Proposal.” Robert Porter, director of research development at the University of Tennessee, will discuss the rhetorical style necessary to create a persuasive proposal for funding.
Participants will learn how to use a three-paragraph sales pitch template to sell a proposal’s fundamental idea to a review panel from the very first page.
This event is open to IUP faculty and staff. The webinar will be held at the IUP Research Institute. The IUP Research Institute is located at 1179 Grant Street, between the parking garage and the railroad crossing at Grant Street and Oakland Avenue.
