    • This course is a study of literature from developing nations around the globe, many of which were formerly European colonies. Representative African authors that might be included are Achebe, Emecheta, Head, Dangarembga, Coetzee, Gurnah, Ngugi, Salih, Rifaat, and Mahfouz.
