The IUP African American Cultural Center will present its 22nd Pre-Commencement Reception and Awards Program on May 11, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
The program recognizes and honors graduating diverse students. Five outstanding student awards as well as several faculty special recognition awards will be presented, the latter of which is based on nominations from members of the graduating class. Application for the awards are available online or at the AACC Office, Delaney Hall, B23, and are due by 4:00 p.m. on April 20, 2012.
The event is free and open to all at IUP and in the Indiana community. Tickets are required for admission, and can be reserved by contacting the African American Cultural Center at 724-357-2455.
