Jan Wachter, associate professor in the Safety Sciences Department, received second-place honors in the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) annual Professional Paper Awards with his article, “Ethics: The Absurd Yet Preferred Approach to Safety Management.”
Wachter will receive his award and honorarium at the ASSE Professional Development Conference in Denver, Colo., on Sunday, June 3, 2012.
