Geoscience professor Steve Hovan will present at the 2012 Great Decisions program, hosted by St. Andrew’s Village, on March 20, 2012. Hovan will look at the health of the world’s seas and discuss current national and international policies intended to manage the ocean’s vast resources.
Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs. The name is shared by a national civic-education program and publication of the Foreign Policy Association. The Great Decisions program highlights eight of the most thought-provoking foreign policy challenges facing Americans today which serves as the focal point for community discussion groups around the nation.
