John McCarthy, Department of Counseling, recently published “Counselor Preparation in England and Ireland: A Look at Six Programs” in Professional Counselor.
He also recently became a master trainer for the Mental Health Facilitator program, which is aimed at offering individuals with skills to identify mental health needs, make appropriate referrals, and support people requiring mental health care.
