HersheyPark and Windish Music Productions will hold auditions at IUP for musicians for the summer 2012 season on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, from 3:30–6:30 p.m. Registration will begin at 3:00. Auditions will be held in the Jazz Rehearsal Room (Rm. 116) of Cogswell Hall.
The IUP Department of Music is pleased to host auditions for employment at HersheyPark for the Summer 2012 season. All interested musicians are welcome to audition.
Musicians are needed fill the following ensembles:
- All Female Band: Pop/rock/R&B/funk. Female vocalists, guitar, bass, keys, drums, trumpet, sax, trombone
- Percussion/Drumming Ensemble (male and female): Stomp/blueman/rudimental style drumming
- Strolling Brass Band (male and female): Brass, saxophone, percussion
- A Cappella Singers (male and female): Pop, rock, R&B, doo-wop singers
- Rhythm Section (male and female): Rock/funk/pop. Vocalists, guitar, bass, keys, drums
Instruments Needed:
- Male and female vocalists, guitar, bass guitar, piano/keys, drums/percussion, saxophone, trumpet, tuba, trombone
Summer Salary: $500–560 per week. Musicians perform six days per week.
Subsidized Housing: Set up through Hersheypark Entertainment
Performance Run: Mid-May through late August 2012
