IUP on “Hometown Magazine” Radio Program, January 26

Michelle Fryling, director of Media Relations, will be a guest on the Hometown Magazine show on WCCS-AM 1160 on Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Fryling will discuss upcoming events for the Spring semester, including the annual Martin Luther King Jr. commemorative activity on January 30, Black History Month events such as Cedric Watson et Bijou Creole on February 7, and the international 35th Annual Appalachian Studies Conference in March.

She'll also discuss Patrick Bizzaro's Fulbright Scholarship to assist the development of a writing program in South Africa; the Heinz Endowment grant to encourage more African-American men in colleges of education; and IUP’s incoming president, Michael Driscoll, whose term begins July 1.
