National Stalking Awareness Month 2012

National Stalking Awareness Month 2012

Stalking is not a joke. It's not romantic. It's not ok.

IUP’s Haven Project challenges the IUP campus to fight this dangerous crime by learning more about it. Think it’s not your problem? Rates of stalking among college students are higher than the general public!

Visit the Haven Project peer educators at their stalking awareness tables at the HUB and in Folger Dining Hall for information and resources.

  • Wednesday, January 25, and Thursday, January 26
  • 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

If you or someone you know is a victim of stalking, contact the Alice Paul House (24 hours) at 724-349-4444.

Resources are also available on campus at the Haven Project at the Counseling Center (G31 Suites on Maple-East) and University Police.

For more information, visit the Stalking Awareness Month website and the Office of Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice.
