John Wesley Lowery, associate professor in Student Affairs in Higher Education, made several presentations at the College of Education and Educational Technology’s Technology Day on Wednesday, January 28, 2012.
Lowery, who has been using Twitter to encourage student engagement in his classes for the past several semesters, presented “Twitter Backchannels: Extending the Classroom Discussion.” He also participated in a panel discussion on the uses of tablet computers in education with Courtney McLaughlin, Lloyd Onyett, and Nancy Yost.
