The University Museum has a great gift idea that depicts the Indiana area: Paintings of Indiana County, by award-winning artist and alumnus Ron Donoughe.

Donoughe has painted scenes on campus and throughout Indiana County on site as a tribute to the area's scenic beauty and unique character. Eighty of these paintings are permanently installed at the IUP Performing Arts Center and now presented in this hardcover, colorful, and informative book.

Mural PicturesPaintings of Indiana County, priced at only $25, is a great memento for anyone, especially for any IUP graduate or long-time Indiana County resident. It is available at the Co-op Store on campus and at the College of Fine Arts office in Sprowls Hall, Room 110. Both the Co-op and the Fine Arts office are open through Thursday, December 22, 2011.

You can also purchase the book at the Book Nook in Indiana and the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg, or the Co-op Store online (delivery cannot be guarantee for pre-Christmas arrival if ordered online).
