The Department of Biology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applications for a full-time, permanent faculty position. We seek a broadly-trained individual with a record of interdisciplinary achievement to begin August 2012.
Examples of such collaborative projects might include, but are not limited to, studying the impact of energy development, loss and restoration of habitat, species of special concern, climate change, forest management, cultural ecology, landscape ecology, molecular ecology, chemical ecology, and ecological genetics.
Candidates should demonstrate outstanding skill and enthusiasm for undergraduate- and master’s-level education with particular emphasis on developing an active research program that involves students.
