The Center for Health and Well-Being and the African American Cultural Center are sponsoring a World AIDS Day Awareness Event on December 1, 2011, in the Ohio Room, Hadley Union Building.
The event will start at 7:00 p.m. with an open mic session. At 8:00 p.m., Dr. Linda Frank will provide an update on HIV. Dr. Frank is an associate professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Graduate School of Public Health, at the University of Pittsburgh and the principal investigator and executive director of the Pennsylvania/MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center.
Attendance vouchers will be available for students who participate as part of an academic assignment.
