Sissoko Presents and Publishes Papers on Sub-Saharan Africa

Dr. Yaya Sissoko, Department of Economics, presented a research paper entitled “Should Sub-Saharan Africa Oil Exporter Countries Borrow More in U.S. Dollar or Euro to Stabilize Their Balance of Payments: An Empirical Investigation,” co-authored with Dr. Soloman Kone, at the thirty-fourth annual Northeast Association of Business, Economics, and Technology (NABET) conference, held in State College, Pa., on October 18–19, 2011.

In addition, Dr. Yaya Sissoko’s paper, “The Sources of Real Exchange Rate Fluctuations in Sub-Saharan Africa,” has been accepted for publication in the China-USA Business Review, forthcoming in Spring 2012.
