Eberly Student Organization Raises Money for Pennsylvania Flood Victims

Hearts on bulletin board

The College of Business Student Advisory Council (COBSAC) has raised money for Pennsylvania flood victims.

Sarah Wagner, COBSAC president, was personally affected by the flooding and suggested the idea of raising money for the victims in Bloomsburg, Pa.

“Last year, we raised money for Japan earthquake relief by selling paper hearts and hanging them up on the [Eberly] atrium windows,” Wagner said. “This year, we are still selling hearts, but we're putting the hearts up on a second floor bulletin board in an outline of Pennsylvania. The idea is that we want to ‘flood Pennsylvania with hearts.’”

The hearts will remain on sale for $1 each during the academic year, and can be purchased from Dr. Dorothy Gracey’s office at 208 Eberly.
