As we move through the remaining weeks of the semester, we may encounter students who are struggling with various stressors.
- The faculty members of IUP’s Counseling Center are available to provide advice to faculty and staff worried about a student and also support to students experiencing distress: 724-357-2621.
- The members of IUP’s Crisis Assessment and Response Team also are available to assist in determining to whom to refer concerns and/or intervening. More information about our support for students in distress can be found at Students at Risk.
- Always, in the case of an emergency, call University Police at 724-357-2141.
- Indiana County’s 24-hour crisis hotline is another local resource at 724-465-2605.
The Counseling Center is a member of the IUP Student Affairs Division.
