Mannheim Steamroller is an American music group founded by Chip Davis , known primarily for its modern recordings of Christmas music . A Grammy Award winner and mastermind behind the group, Chip Davis directs and coproduces the tour. The show will feature the favorite Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller along with state-of-the-art multimedia effects in an intimate setting.
Musically, as the 1990s progressed, Davis moved into the mainstream of New Age music with a heavier reliance on synthesized instruments. His music became closer to the light jazz style that gained prominence in the 1990s.
