Eileen Glisan conducted two days of training for the new military and civilian foreign language instructors at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The topics addressed were “From Theory and Standards to Interpersonal Communication in the Foreign Language Classroom,” “Developing Interpretive Communication through Authentic Texts,” and “Assessing Outcomes: Beginning with the End in Mind.”
