Dr. Lydia Rodríguez of the Department of Spanish was invited to write the preface to the book The Novels of María de Zayas (1590–1650): The Supernatural and the Occult in Spanish Women’s Literature of the Seventeenth Century.
The book was published in 2010 by Edwin Mellen Press and authored by Dr. Ingrid Matos-Nin, professor of Spanish at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.
