Dr. Lydia Rodríguez of the Department of Spanish presented a paper titled “Humor in Unexpected Places: Barros, Esquivel, and Peri Rossi” at Duquesne University.
The paper was presented at the twenty-third annual Pennsylvania Foreign Language Conference on September 25, 2010.
The paper examines cultural and universal humor in the three authors.
