Dr. Eileen W. Glisan, Department of Spanish, delivered the keynote address at the annual Southwest Conference on Language Teaching in Fort Worth, Texas.
The topic of her address was “Research and Practice: A Tale of Two Worlds in Foreign Language Education.”
She also copresented a session at the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, held in Baltimore, the title of which was “The Impact of the National Standards on Language Education and National Initiatives.”
