The Department of Psychology opens the Fall 2011 Brown Bag Series with a discussion of Desire2Learn on Wednesday, September 28, from 12:20 to 1:10 p.m. in Uhler Hall, Room 118.
Dr. Lynda Federoff will talk about her experiences in moving her online classes from one system to another.
Desire2Learn is a new PASSHE-contracted learning management system that offers collaborative learning tools, activity-based learning, and interaction with materials that encourage critical reflection.
PASSHE recently announced that it has signed a five-year agreement with Desire2Learn to replace Moodle.
