Cynthia M. Richburg and Becky Knickelbein, both from the Department of Special Education and Clinical Services at IUP, have collaborated to study the extent to which school-based speech-language pathologists have access to the services of an educational audiologist and how they benefitted from such services.

Their article, “Educational Audiologists: Their Access, Benefit, and Collaborative Assistance to Speech-Language Pathologists in Schools,” is being published in the October 2011 edition of Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools (LSHSS: Vol. 42, p. 444-460).

LSHSS is a journal of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is distributed internationally. The abstract can be accessed through the LSHSS website.
