Henry Wong Doe, a member of the IUP piano faculty, will present a solo recital on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. The free performance will be held at 8:00 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall, located on the second floor of John Sutton Hall.
The program will feature three works from Wong Does' upcoming debut compact disk, Horizon, by New Zealand composer Gareth Farr. The CD is scheduled to be released on the Trust Records label in October.
In the second half, Wong Doe will perform Chopin's magnificent set of Twenty-Four Preludes, Op. 28.
