
The School of Graduate Studies and Research is pleased to announce that Dr. Tim Nuttle, Department of Biology, received an external funding award in the amount of $197,354 from the National Science Foundation for his project, “Investigating Mechanisms of Trophic Ricochet in Canopy Food Chains Resulting from Long-Term Legacies of Historic Deer Browsing.”
Dr. Nuttle and his students and colleagues conduct their research in Pennsylvania's Allegheny National Forest, which has hosted several decades of deer-browsing study.
