In July, the National Science Teachers Association welcomed Thomas Lord, of the IUP Department of Biology, onto its board of directors. Lord will serve on the executive board for two years, completing his term at the end of June 2013.
The NSTA Board of Directors is composed of ten NSTA members along with the organization’s president, president-elect, and past president. The group meets monthly to review all issues brought to its attention and has final authority on all attended matters.
