Counseling Center Plans Fall Programs, Resumes Expanded Hours

The IUP Counseling Center is open for full services Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with later afternoon hours available by appointment.

We offer individual counseling, couples counseling, consultation, and a variety of counseling and support groups. For additional information about the center and our fall programs, please see the Counseling Center website.

The Counseling Center’s mission is to help students navigate emotional, personal, and academic difficulties while pursuing their studies at IUP. We are located across from Folger Food Court at the Suites on Maple East G31 (in the Center for Health and Well Being).

The Counseling Center has six licensed psychologists, as well as a number of master’s-level therapists. We also have counseling/psychological specialists in violence issues and substance use and abuse issues.

Counseling Center faculty psychologists are available to the IUP community for consultation about student psychological and developmental concerns. All our clinical services are confidential. Please feel free to contact us!
