The 2011 Freshman Convocation date has been set for Sunday, August 28, 2011.
Beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium, the Class of 2015 will be welcomed by Interim President David Werner and IUP Student Trustee Andrew Longacre.
Keynote remarks will be delivered by IUP Music professor Dr. Jack Stamp, while the entire event will be emceed by IUP University Professor Lynn Botelho.
Immediately following convocation, a cookout hosted on the Oak Grove will be available and will feature music from IUP alumnus DJ Beatstreet Josh Aguirre.
All members of the IUP community are invited to join this welcome celebration for the Class of 2015.
