IUP is ranked 119th in the nation in producing doctoral graduates in the Center for Measuring University Performance’s 2010 Top American Research Universities Report.
IUP is ranked above well-regarded institutions, including Old Dominion University, Lehigh University, Dartmouth College, and East Carolina University. For this report, statistics reflect 2009 figures.
The Center for Measuring University Performance, based in Tucson, Ariz., began its major research and publications efforts within the context of the Lombardi Program on Measuring University Performance.
“IUP is definitely in good company, and this is something of which we can be proud,” Dr. Timothy Mack, dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research, said.
