Senior Amanda Pearson (Journalism) copresented with Ann Sesti, assistant director of the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs program, at the twenty-third annual MARTI Summer School at IUP in July 2011.
Their presentation, “Using Social Media to Entice Students to Make Healthy Lifestyle Choices,” talked about the ways students get their information (Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter), and how those social media platforms can be a part of a comprehensible approach to prevention.
