Guth Discusses Impact of a Counseling and Diversity Institute in Ireland

Dr. Lorraine J. Guth, professor in the Department of Counseling, recently presented the paper “Why Study Abroad?: Overview of Ireland Counseling and Diversity Institute Outcome Research” at the Asia Pacific Rim International Counseling Conference in Hong Kong on July 6-8, 2011.

The presentation highlighted the results of a quantitative study designed to examine the impact of a counseling and diversity institute in Ireland on attendees. The presentation was well received.

This project was made possible through funding from the University Senate Research Committee Small Grants Program and the President’s Supplemental Travel Fund.
