John McCarthy, Department of Counseling, Offers Two Presentations

John McCarthy, Department of Counseling, offered two presentations at the 2011 Asia Pacific Rim International Counseling Conference in Hong Kong.

The first was a ninety-minute workshop entitled “Counselor and Student Wellness: 5,400 Seconds in Thought-Filled, Rejunenative Fun, and Reflection.”

The second presentation was on “Ambivalence as a Starting Point: Using Motivational Interviewing.”

He also delivered two seminars at the National Academy of Civil Service in Taipei, Taiwan. The first was on “The Leader in Us: Inspiring Motivation and Creativity,” and the second workshop addressed “Career Resilience: How are you Thinking?”
