Speech Pathology Faculty and Students Present at State Convention

Faculty and students from the Speech Language Pathology program were well-represented at the 2011 Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association convention, held in April at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh.

The presenters and their topics included:

  • Erin Keller, 2010 alumna, with faculty members David Stein and Karen Stein: “School’s Out—Now About That Clinical Fellowship”
  • Craig Coleman (adjunct faculty member): “Telepractice 101 for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists” and “Treating Children Who Stutter: Goals and Activities”
  • David Stein (professor): “Sharing Your Answers from the License Renewals—Any New Questions?”
  • Anne Rhoades and Kayla Kirkpatrick, second-year master’s degree students, with faculty member Lori Lombard: “Acoustic and Physiologic Voice Characteristics of Patients with Thyroid Disease”
  • Karen Cuddeback, 2010 alumna, with faculty member David Stein: “Factors Speech-Language Pathologists Use to Determine Discharge Placement from Neurologic Rehabilitation”
