IUP-TV “No-Brainer” Game Show Looking for Student Contestants

A brand new IUP-TV game show, No-Brainer, is looking for student contestants for upcoming shows. Students may win up to $75 on the show, which shoots on Monday evenings.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to apply to be a contestant role on No-Brainer, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Be currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania with at least a part-time status.
  • Be in good academic standing with the university.
  • You must not be related to any personnel of the game show in any of the following ways:
    • Spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, aunt/uncle, niece/nephew, first cousin, boyfriend/girlfriend, fiancé, or roommate
  • You must not be a member of IUP-TV.

Interview

Once the application has been accepted, the show producers will determine if the applicant is to be contacted for an interview. If interviewed, the applicants will answer a series of questions, which may include a brief mock segment of the game show.

Invitation to become a Contestant

If the producers all approve, the applicant will be invited to appear as a contestant. A form will also be e-mailed to the contestant. This form is to be signed by the contestant’s academic advisor to simply confirm enrollment and academic standing. If the contestant returns on taping day without the form, they may be permitted to return with it within a reasonable period of time without delay to the taping of the show. However, should the contestant win the game, no prize money will be disbursed until the form has been signed and returned.
