Starship, starring Mickey Thomas, will perform in Fisher Auditorium on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 8:00 p.m.
Mickey Thomas is the soaring voice that propelled Starship through the 1980s and ’90s—with every album going gold or platinum. With his soulful and compelling vocals in hits like “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” “We Built This City,” and “Sara,” Thomas has established himself as one of rock music’s most recognizable stars. He is currently celebrating his thirtieth anniversary with Starship since he joined Jefferson Starship as lead vocalist following the departure of Grace Slick and Marty Balin.
