Dr. Michele Papakie, a professor in the Journalism Department, was featured in an article in the Beaver County Times.
In the article, Papakie, a lieutenant colonel in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, and her father, Ray Dougherty, who served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, compared differences in communicating with their loved ones while serving in foreign countries.
