Reminder about National Survey of Student Engagement

IUP is currently participating in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). Faculty and staff members are asked to encourage any freshmen and seniors that they interact with to participate in the survey, if they are selected.

The survey provides important feedback on student perceptions and engagement with the university. Beginning Thursday, February 17, 2011, and running for approximately four weeks, this survey was randomly sent electronically to freshmen and seniors at IUP.

Results from previous years are available on the Planning and Assessment website.

Faculty members, please share either the PowerPoint presentation or the announcement with your students:

This survey is your chance not only to share your opinions about your IUP experiences, but you can also be a winner! Those completing the National Survey of Student Engagement have a chance to win Co-Op gift cards or flex dollars. Residential freshmen who complete both the NSSE survey and CORE survey have a chance to win a flat-screen TV.

Your opinion counts. Watch your e-mail for your invitation to participate. Thank you!
