The IUP Libraries, in collaboration with IT Services, is happy to announce the startup of the Information Commons Support Desk.
Located conveniently on the first floor of Stapleton next to the Reference Desk and Media and Equipment, the Information Commons Support Desk will serve the library community with basic technical support, software issues, and wireless configuration, as well as other services listed on their website.
Please note that this is not a replacement for the IT Support Center, but is a service in addition to it.
The hours of operation will be:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 a.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (student support only)
- Sunday: 1:00 p.m.–12:45 a.m.

- Software support
- Wireless Configurations
- Printing
- Basic virus questions and support
- Multimedia Applications
Services not available at this location:
- Any hardware repair
- No Personal PC support for faculty or staff
- No installation of operating systems
