Since the beginning of the academic year, the IUP athletics teams have been gathering money for the Make-A-Wish foundation as part of a Division II service initiative.
The average for schools participating is near $1,200, but the Crimson Hawks have gone above and beyond that, raising $3,619.60.
The swimming and diving teams have led the effort, bringing in $615. The men’s basketball team raised $335, and the softball team brought in $312.
