Dr. John Mills, chair of IUP’s Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects and professor of Psychology, will describe important concepts and applications in responsible conduct of research, with particular attention to levels of privacy and informed consent procedures.
This discussion will take place on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Uhler Hall, Room 116.
Dr. Lynda Federoff and Dr. Laurie Roehrich will also be discussant for work with ethical conduct of research and subject pool procedures.
Participants may also bring specific problems to the discussion for problem-solving assistance.
