IUP’S second annual Gender and Sexuality Symposium will be held on April 13, 2011, in the Hadley Union Building (HUB).
We are excited to announce Dr. Betsy Crane as our keynote speaker.
With this year’s theme in mind, “Overlapping Narratives: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue,” we invite faculty, students, and staff of all departments to present. This is a great opportunity to learn about one another’s research and receive updates from last year’s presentations.
We welcome fifteen-minunte papers, thirty-minute workshops, sixty-minugte workshops, performing arts, posters, and group panels on both global and local issues. Please submit a maximum 250-word abstract, along with your name, contact information, and type of presentation, to IUPGenderAndSexuality@gmail.com by March 1, 2011.
