Attend an information session at the IUP Monroeville Graduate and Professional Center to learn more about IUP’s master’s programs in Community Counseling and School Counseling with Certification.
The M.A. in Community Counseling program prepares students to work in a variety of mental health-related settings and also for state and national licensure.
New to Fall 2011, applicants will have the option to choose one of two delivery options: The existing part-time, evening format in which two courses are offered one weekday evening per week (Thursdays for the cohort beginning Fall 2011), or the new, full-time, daytime option in which classes will be taught Tuesdays from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.

Students pursuing the M.Ed. in School Counseling program are prepared for certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania while earning their M.Ed. from IUP. Courses are offered one weekday evening per week (Thursdays for the cohort beginning Fall 2011) from 4:45 to 7:15 p.m. and from 7:20 to 9:50 p.m.
