Dr. Danhua Wang, Department of Developmental Studies, presented a research paper at the annual conference of the College Reading and Learning Association held in Salt Lake City, Utah, in November 2010.
Her presentation, “Enhancing Inference via Narrative,” explicates the role of narrative in nurturing critical thinking and demonstrates strategies to promote thematic inference and further probing beyond the information given.
