The IUP Office of Service Learning and Michael B Shoes/Campus Corner are cosponsoring a collection event to provide an opportunity for the IUP community to help make a difference in the lives of others worldwide by the simple act of donating shoes.
Soles4Souls is an international shoe charity that since 2005 has provided nearly 12 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes to people in need in more than 125 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal, and the United States.
Please bring your shoes or monetary donations to the collection talble located outside the HUB Fitness Center from December 6 to December 10, 2010, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
A $5-off coupon for Michael B Shoes will be given as a thank-you for your generous donation. For more information, contact the Office of Service Learning at 724-357-3103.
