Dr. Elizabeth Kincade, of the IUP Counseling Center, and two colleagues have published a new textbook on techniques and strategies in feminist therapy and counseling.
Introduction to Feminist Therapy: Strategies for Social and Individual Change is authored by Drs. Kathy Evans (University of South Carolina), Elizabeth A. Kincade (IUP), and Susan Seem (SUNY-Brockport). In keeping with the egalitarian stance of feminist therapy, all three authors contributed equally to the text.
The book offers beginning and established counselors and therapists strategies for incorporating feminist therapy principles and techniques into their therapeutic work.
