Career Development Center Staff Members Receive Grant for Speed Interviewing Event

The Career Development Center is pleased to announce that Tammy Manko, assistant director, and Kelly Cordero, graduate assistant, along with Emily Cicconi (IUP SAHE '08), a recruiter for PLS Logistics Services, were awarded a $1,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Employers (PennACE).

PennACE is a nonprofit service organization dedicated to support and advocacy for experiential education, career development, and employment in Pennsylvania that annually awards grants to fund collaborative projects that support its mission and purpose.

The Career Development Center hosted a Speed Interviewing Event, in which students were given the opportunity to spend five minutes each with employers from an eclectic mix of companies, included banking, logistics, social services, sales, and manufacturing.
