Pa. Dept. of Health Funds Available

Please share the following announcement with interested faculty and staff.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has announced that IUP is potentially eligible to receive $9,268 in health research funding as a result of the Tobacco Settlement Act. However, IUP is limited to submitting only one application.

In order to select the application, IUP is holding an internal competition for interested IUP faculty and staff. Researchers should provide a one-page description of the research project (additional pages will be discarded and not reviewed). Please be sure to include your name, department, and contact information.

Funds must be used for one or more of the following types of health research:

  • Biomedical Research
  • Clinical Research
  • Health Services Research

The one-page description of the project should be submitted no later than close of business on Friday, November 12, 2010. Project descriptions can be submitted via e-mail, campus mail, or hand delivery to:
